The American Security RF and RFX Series are the only U.L. Listed TL-30 burglary and fire resistant gun safes on the market. Overall thickness of the door and body is 6" and is constructed with a 3" defense barrier of outer and inner steel plates creating a single structure enclosing 12,000 PSI high-strength concrete and a unique, high density fire and burglary resistant ceramic matrix. The proprietary inner barrier also protects against peeling attacks. Unique to the RFX models is the fact that this 6" thickness is consistent across all sides of the safe, not just the door. Underwriter Laboratories (UL) took the most sophisticated equipment used today and tried to break into this safe with each tool for 30 minutes each, on all sides. The reinforced drill resistant door frame protects the door and each individual bolt chamber from severe side attacks. The 2 stage dual fire seals with silicone seal on the door jamb and expandable Palusol seal on the door add to the massive 120 minutes of fire protection. The group 2M Lock is protected by a proprietary patented hard plate, dual external relocker and one internal relocker. The 4 pre-cut anchor holes make this easy to install and the one (1) pre-cut electrical access hole make it easy to customize.
